The Dutton Ranch vineyards we use are in the cool southern parts of Russian River in Jenner & Mills Station. We love this climate for the wonderful acids it delivers to our wine. The Dutton Ranch vineyards are in such a cool spot that they are always the last grapes we bring in, typically two weeks after our Cabernets. La Porte Cochere Vineyard is in a warmer area in Fulton and delivers rich and ripe flavors. Together these vineyards deliver a wine with softness and rich flavors with excellent balance and long finishes. |

This Chardonnay is made entirely from grapes grown in the Russian River Valley, where cooling ocean breezes create a climate ideal for this delicate grape. The wine is full of butterscotch, citrus, peach and melon flavors. It has a very food friendly finish with a subtle oak flavor and a pleasingly crisp mouth feel. |
