Armagh Vineyard (ar-ma) is named after County Armagh Ireland, home of our ancesters. Since 1894 our family has farmed the cool climates of the Sonoma Coast. Our limited release of 100% Syrah (unfiltered) reflects the long growing season of Chileno Valley, situated in the rolling hills between Petaluma and Tomales Bay.
Armagh Vineyard is an 11 acre vineyard and was planted in 1997. It is comprised of 6 acres of Pinot Noir, 4 acres of Chardonnay and just 1 acre of Syrah. The Syrah has a warm southern exposure and because it is harvested late in the season, it has a long time on the vine to develop the flavors.
